Hi, I’m Yvonne

I grew up in Houston. I live in Santa Barbara. I’m a child of the 1980s.

I’m a writer of various things, including a novel, poems, and courses. For many years, I taught writing at USC.

I'm also an associate psychotherapist.

I enjoy growing flowers, reading, walking, spending time with animals, hanging out with my mom, and being a student of yoga. I’m interested in love, in all things that dispatch love into the world, and in the mysterious (painful, joyous) ways this extenuation of love occurs.
